Carol Ann Castagna Writes: A Kiss from God (Countryside Minuet)

Countryside Minuet

All of nature reels to the wind’s minuet,
when that high-stepping breeze slows
to an easy air-breath,
balanced, sweet and welcome.
The grass leans in rhythm.
The blooms sway in time,
flaunting color and subtle perfume.
Lizards dart to the next forage.
Fowls hide in nippy March,
Soon to trill songs in June
-as flora and fauna dance on.
